EVA - ETHYLENE-VINYL ACETATE

EVA - ETHYLENE-VINYL ACETATE
• EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate Copolymer) is a copolymer produced by combining VAM, (vinyl acetate monomer) varying between 2% and 40%, with PE (polyethylene) by autoclave or LDPE tubular process.
• It is an elastomeric material, soft and flexible.
• It has good transparency and is glossy.
• Good low temperature hardness and pressure cracking properties.
• When the VAM (Vinyl Acetate Monomer) content of EVA increases:
• Transparency Increases
• Intensity Increases
• Impact Resistance and Tear Resistance Increase
• Has a Lower Melting Point
• Easier to Cross Connect
• Increases Permeability
• Polarity Increases
• ESCR Increases
• Softer and More Elastic
FEATURES
• Low Creep
• Types of Injection, Extrusion and Blowing Films
• Good Elongation at Break
• Good Optical Properties
• Chemical Resistance
• High Elasticity
• High Heat Melt Adhesion
• High Robustness
